Back in 2016 I lost my grandfather as a result of Dementia. He had been dealing with it for quite some time, and to see how he went downhill was brutal. As Long as You’re Here, released October 28, 2025, follows the story of Annie, a woman living with Alzheimer’s. The game shows what it’s like, from the lost memories to the remembering certain moments in the past. I knew going into this Let’s Play that it’d be brutal for my emotions.

Typically I only do one Full Game per week, but sometimes a shorter game comes around and warrants a bonus one… And this week, As Long As You’re Here is a bonus one. If the intro bit there didn’t warn you, this game DOES deal with what it’s like for someone to be taken by Alzheimer’s disease, and also from Dementia. It’s rough. I don’t wish it on anyone.

Take care of yourselves. Tell your family – whether that be blood family or your chosen family – that you love them and care for them. If you can – and they’re accepting – give them a hug.
